Protecting your investment before you buy!
We look for non-functioning systems, non-cosmetic damages, and items that might need repairs before you purchase the property.
Home inspections are a critical component in the purchase of a new construction or re-sale of an existing home. They provide the knowledge you need about deciding to continue with the purchase, renegotiate the sale price, ask seller to make repairs, or for pull out of the transaction. The inspection enables you to make an informed choice about the purchasing the home, and will help you understand the features and functions of your homes systems.
HEALTHY HOME SURVEY
Attention to Detail
The Healthy Home Survey is a detailed Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) survey that is especially helpful if you suspect you may have a problem. Many of us think that by dusting and vacuuming regularly, as well as cleaning and disinfecting the surfaces around the home, we are safe from particles that can cause us harm.
While this is generally true, sometimes a home may have more serious air quality problems that a general cleaning can’t fix, also with toxic particles being invisible to the naked eye, you can’t always spot when you have a problem.
Photos will be taken, temperatures will be recorded and weather conditions will be monitored. All this data is gathered along with your responses to our simple questionnaire, in order to create your personal home report.
HOME ENERGY AUDITS
Save you money whilst saving the environment.
Upgrades following an energy audit can save you money and improve the comfort of your home.
A Professional Home Energy Audit will go into great detail to assess your home's energy use. Our energy auditor will do a room-by-room examination of the residence, as well as a thorough examination of past utility bills.
Many of our professional energy assessments will include a blower door test if required. All audits will include a thermographic scan and a leak test. Contact us now to get an idea of what an energy auditor will look for and the special tools they use to determine where a home is wasting energy.
